Privacy
We keep this short because we collect very little.
What we collect
You do not need an account to use FitMyLaptop. Laptop search runs in your browser against a list we publish, so we do not run your searches on our servers. The address of a results page can include your search words, and standard server logs may record it.
Feedback you send
If you use “Report a wrong spec” or “Did your upgrade work?”, we receive what you type in the form, such as the part you installed or the spec you think is wrong. Please do not include personal details in these fields.
Retailer links
When you click through to Amazon or Newegg, that retailer can set its own cookies and sees that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Hosting
The site is hosted by a third-party provider, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address and page requests for security and operations.
